COVID-19 George’s Surf School Customer Information and Booking Conditions
By booking a lesson you are agreeing to comply to the following conditions:
You currently have no symptoms of COVID-19 and haven’t been in contact with anyone who does within the past 14 days
Anyone taking part in the lesson will be able to control their own board whilst in the water
Surfers must adhere to the conditions of delivery during the lesson
Conditions of Delivery:
The meeting point is at the entrance to the beach car park
There are no public toilets at present at Polzeath
It's advisable to wear booties to prevent weaver fish stings whilst their is a reduced lifeguard service and particularly for lessons outside of the lifeguard hour of 10am-6pm
Wetsuit hire is now available from BustyMoo's Surf Hire
Booking form must have been completed prior to arrival at the beach
If the instructor or client has any symptoms of COVID-19 then the lesson is to be cancelled/ rearranged immediately
If anyone in the lesson/ ocean is deemed to be acting in an unsafe or inappropriate manner the instructor has the right to cancel/ postpone the lesson
Social distancing rules will be adhered to at all times unless in the case of an emergency
No client items can be stored by the surf school in the board shed
George’s Surf School will spray/ wipe all equipment with disinfectant between lessons
Bibs will only be worn by clients if there is a safety issue. In this case the bibs will have been disinfected and not worn by anyone else for at least 48 hours. Instructors will wear bibs so they are easy to spot.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings are confirmed on receipt of payment and a completed booking form.
Bookings cancelled more than 21 days before the commencement of lesson/course will be refunded 85%. Bookings cancelled within 21 days of the lesson/course will not be refunded.
In the event of adverse weather, or if the conditions are deemed unsuitable for surfing by Georges’s Surf School, bookings will be rescheduled. Re-arranging lessons for any other reason will incur a £10 administration fee.

Lessons start and finish at the time confirmed at the time of booking.
We are delighted to have so many people supporting our culture and coaching and while we always do everything we can to accommodate you, sometimes we have to stick to our cancellation policy to be fair to our instructors and others wanting to book lessons with us.
