Business Manager Role
Full Time/Permanent Role/Salary dependant on qualifications and experience
The Role
We are a small, dedicated team driven by quality and a love of surfing and the ocean. The successful candidate will be an upbeat and pro-active self-starter with a positive mental attitude, great organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills who is comfortable running the administration of the business. The role will provide the opportunity to be involved in different areas of the business and help influence the culture and direction the business follows as we continue to grow.
This is a full-time, permanent position where the successful candidate will work 5 days out of 7. At certain times of the year, weekend and bank holiday working will be required with a possibility for flexible / remote working at other times.
Day-to Day Responsibilities
Provide administrative assistance and manage communications to the Managing Director and the Operations/Beach Manager.
Monitor Bookings, calandar and coaching schedule
Monitor and manage marketing, newsletters and social media platforms
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas and minutes
Receive and direct incoming calls, visitors, mail and email
Maintain files, records, calendars and diaries
Occasional requirement for event support
Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies and practices for the company
Ideal Attributes
Previous experience within an admin/office assistant role
Excellent computer skills, with an ability to pick up new systems as necessary
Basic judgement and problem-solving skills
Understanding of how to use social media for business advertising and communications would be an advantage.
